A key innovation is the built-in 3M™ Uvicator™ Sensor Disc. This unique sensor changes color over time when exposed to harmful UV radiation, a primary cause of hard hat degradation. When the sensor turns from red to white, it provides a clear, visual signal that the hard hat’s protective properties have been compromised and it’s time for a replacement.

The ratchet-style headband and a plastic sweatband allow for easy and precise size adjustment, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. The head harness can also be rotated 180° to provide better upward visibility when working in confined areas or during specialized tasks.
