3M™ Versaflo™ Helmet with Flame Resistant Shroud, M-407: Heavy-duty head, eye, and respiratory protection with flame-resistant coverage – built for extreme industrial environments.

The 3M™ Versaflo™ M-407 Helmet is a premium headtop designed for use with 3M™ Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) and Supplied Air Respirator Systems. It features a flame-resistant shroud that offers extended coverage for the neck, shoulders, and face, making it ideal for high-risk environments such as smelting, grinding, chemical processing, and metalworking.

The helmet integrates:

• A polycarbonate visor with excellent peripheral and downward vision
• A fully adjustable suspension system for personalized fit and weight distribution
• A deflector system to direct airflow inside the headtop for enhanced comfort
• Compatibility with 3M™ Peltor™ hearing protection and attachable communication accessories

Certified to EN 12941 TH3, EN 14594 3B, and EN 166:2001, the M-407 provides a Nominal Protection Factor (NPF) of up to 500 when used with TR-302E or TR-602E turbo units. Its polyaramid shroud resists sparks and hot particles, while the helmet’s lightweight design (approx. 1066 g) ensures comfort during long shifts.
